Pollution, hormonal changes, bacteria, excess oil on the skin and not cleaning it after using makeup are some of the causes that cause the appearance of those unsightly blackheads .
There are a large number of products and treatments that promise to make them disappear, although these are often accompanied by chemical agents that are not very kind to the skin and, in addition, they may be expensive or not as effective as they promise.
Avoid blackheads
The first solution to this problem is to take measures to reduce its appearance. How? Sometimes it can be very simple: following a correct facial care routine . This translates into removing make-up correctly every day with products that are not aggressive for the skin, since if this is the case, they could produce excess oil in it.
It should be borne in mind that this solution is not always definitive since there are many more reasons for the appearance of blackheads that cannot be avoided so easily, such as hormonal changes, for example. In addition, those who have oily skin and large pores will be more likely to suffer from them.
Still, cleaning the pores of the skin will actively help prevent its appearance or, at least, slow it down.
Facial cleansing routine
The ideal for skin care is to clean it twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. In this way, any remaining makeup remains will be eliminated, as well as toxins and excess fat accumulated. Of these two times, only one soap should be used (such as natural oatmeal, honey or aloe vera soaps). The other time, oatmeal water will suffice, which can be easily made by leaving two tablespoons of oats to rest in a glass of water.
Use the soap that time you have spent time on the street or have played sports.
After this first cleaning, it is advisable to apply an astringent tonic daily, such as the one made naturally with witch hazel. The properties of this plant make up a perfect alternative to industrial tonics.
In addition, two or three times a week you can steam sessions that help to open and clean the pores thoroughly. You just have to boil water in a pot and bring your face close so that the heat reaches it without burning the skin. Covering the head with a towel to allow the steam to concentrate will help.
Finally, another step that cannot be missed in facial cleansing is exfoliation, to be done two or three times a week. To make a natural scrub just mix a tablespoon of ground oatmeal with honey or yogurt to thicken it and perform circular massages. You can also take advantage of the many qualities of coffee using its grounds in the same way. Afterwards, rinse the skin with lukewarm water and apply a moisturizer.
Natural masks to eliminate blackheads
To reinforce the facial cleansing routine, once or twice a week you can apply masks that provide extra help to prevent the appearance of blackheads.
Yogurt and lemon mask
Thanks to this mask, excess oil on the skin will be fought. You just have to mix 2 tablespoons of natural yogurt with 1/2 of lemon juice, apply it on the face (avoiding the eye area) and leave it on for 20 minutes.
Strawberry mask
Strawberries are delicious and, in addition, they can also be used to make beauty products such as this mask that will help the skin to be free of blackheads. Ingredients:

Mix everything until it is a homogeneous paste and apply to the face, leaving it to act for 20 minutes. Afterwards, remove the mask with warm water.
Egg white mask
To make this mask, just use an egg white and kitchen paper or napkins. First, apply half of the egg white on the areas of the face that are affected by blackheads, to help you can use a brush or cotton. Then, the paper is placed on these areas and, on it, the rest of the egg white. Once it dries and hardens, it is carefully removed and the skin is rinsed with cold water until all traces of the mask are removed.
Milk and jelly mask
This mask has a sticky effect similar to the previous one that helps to remove dirt from the pores thoroughly. To make it, you just have to mix a tablespoon of milk and another tablespoon of neutral gelatin, without flavor, and heat this mixture for 10 seconds in the microwave. Then apply the mask to the areas with blackheads and wait for it to dry. Once dry, remove it gently with your hands, wash your face with cold water and apply a natural toner.
Honey and cinnamon mask
The days when you have more time to care and pamper your skin are perfect to use this mask that can be easily made by mixing 2 tablespoons of honey and 1 of cinnamon. Ideally, apply it with circular massages on the affected areas and let it act on the skin for two hours, although if you do not have enough time, the action time can be shortened to 10 minutes. To remove it, just wash your face with cold water.
Tomato and sea salt mask
To benefit from the antiseptic properties of tomato, which help clean dirt from pores, a mask can be created by mixing one tablespoon of sea salt with two tablespoons of tomato puree. Once the mixture is made, it is applied to the affected areas of the face with a gentle massage. You have to let it act for 5 minutes and then remove it with plenty of cold water, thus avoiding any remains. Finally, you can apply the tonic that is used regularly.
